bUSY!

hEY GUYS! aS MY 3 READERS MAY HAVE NOTICED, i HAVE NOT BEEN BLOGGING MUCH SINCE i LEFT uNIVERSITY. (I thought it would be fun to write in reverse caps, but it was just plain silly). Anyway, it's funny how when your life is going great, there are so many projects that fall to the wayside because you don't need them to distract you from what's really going on.

Well! Everything is going fantastically here in Wellington! Life after Uni is amazing. Actually. I am enjoying work, and even though I don't have many friends in this city I still get lots of social time. Quite often I go and play pool with a workmate after work, and have a glass of wine or two. Being able to spontaneously do that is rad! I went shopping yesterday and then out to a flatwarming, and didn't think twice about whether it was an effective use of my time or not. This afternoon I must tidy my room :-( but hey, you can't have it all, right?

I've been thinking about my piano exam, which is in August. I don't think I will be ready. I don't want to pay the fees and then have an epic fail. That would suck. I'm investigating sitting it in Wales, and if I did that I would also sit a theory exam as well (just because I have money coming out of my ears so would love to fork out the extra), meaning I wouldn't feel bad about postponing it because I would have twice the work. Hmmmm... Decisions....

I'm thinking I should spend the rest of the day (it's almost quarter to 4) doing housework - cleaning my room, the bathroom, and the kitchen. My flatmates and I have managed to avoid the dishes for a good few days now, to the point where we don't really have that many plates and things in the cupboards. Uh Oh. Oh, the joys of a tiny kitchen with no dishwasher. I actually think if we had a bigger kitchen I would be more inclined to do the dishes - the thought of getting into a small dark space to tackle piles of plates stacked on every available horizontal surface is just not very appealing.

MOTHER'S DAY! Man, I love my mum. She Rocks.

if only she were here to help me with that cleaning.....
